Through generous contributions from our community of supporters, we are able to host a wide range of educational and outreach opportunities! Check out these terrific options and spread the word; get your students involved with live performance at The Washington Center!
Educational Outreach – We utilize our Washington Center Presented Events, introducing students to live performances and touring professionals via in-school workshops, performances, and student matinees at our main stage theater.
$10 Student Rush – On the day of most Washington Center Presented Events, $10 tickets are available, in person, at the box office. Rush seats are only available with valid Student ID, and are subject to availability.
Anacker Scholarship – A monetary scholarship presented to one graduating high school senior in Thurston County intending to pursue a career in the arts.
Our Gallery – Open to the public for viewing by appointment, or to ticketed patrons 1 hour prior to an event; The Washington Center gallery has been proud host to many artists and artist’s guilds since it’s inception!
Prelude Performances – Ideally suited for musical groups of up to 5 members, this series offers the musicians the chance to perform in the our lobby before Main Stage shows or Art Gallery Receptions.
