Studio West brings the original rom-com to South Sound audiences with Coppelia, a romantic comedy of mischief and mistaken identities. A young woman, Swanhilda, notices her fiancé Franz is infatuated with a beautiful girl (Coppelia), who sits reading on a balcony in the house belonging to Dr. Coppelius, an eccentric inventor. Swanhilda and her mischievous friends decide to sneak into Dr. Coppelius’s workshop one day to search for the girl on the balcony, and chaos ensues. Does Swanhilda confront Coppelia, the rival for her fiancé’s attention? Who is Coppelia? Is there a happily-ever-after for Swanhilda and Franz?
