Black Box Jazz: Frank Kohl and John Stowell

John Stowell is an internationally recognized guitarist and clinician, traveling the world teaching and performing. John has performed or recorded with Milt Jackson, Herb Ellis, Larry Coryell and many many others. LA Times has said of John: “a delightful departure from the road well traveled. He transcends the label of jazz guitarist”.

Frank Kohl is based in Seattle and performs nationwide from Jazz Club’s in NYC like Smalls and Mezzrow’s to venues in Seattle like Earshot Jazz Festival and Tulas Jazz Club. Jazz Times has said “Frank is set to be well recognized for his splendid compositions and artistry. His talent and craftsmanship make him imminently worthy of notoriety”.
