Black Box Jazz: Dmitri Matheny

Voted “Northwest Instrumentalist of the Year” in the recent Seattle Earshot Jazz Golden Ear Awards, flugelhornist/composer Dmitri Matheny has been lauded as “one of the most emotionally expressive improvisers of his generation” (International Review of Music).
