Concerto Competition

You are invited to The Olympia Music Teachers’ Association (OMTA) annual Concerto Competition. This competition will feature local students ages 8-18, competing in this judged event for a chance to perform with the Olympia Chamber Orchestra during their current season. The competition is an exciting event to experience. You will enjoy a high level of musicianship and variety of captivating music. OMTA is affiliated with Music Teachers’ National Association (MTNA). Admission is free to the public. Performance times, which can vary by up to 15 minutes, are as follows:

8:00am – Elementary Division

9:30am – Lower Intermediate Division

12:00pm – Upper Intermediate Division

1:30pm – Advanced A Division (Classical)

4:00pm – Advanced B Division (Romantic and Modern)

Donations to OMTA for scholarships and enrichment programs are gratefully accepted.
