Emerald City Music is Olympia’s home for top-flight chamber music performances. Now entering its third season, the series brings over 45 classical soloists and chamber musicians to Olympia from every corner of the globe. The new season begins with an array of classical duos that explore the depths of our human ability to dream, emote, and find beauty when we gather together.

Immerse yourself in the dim light of a warm, intimate café as the colorful tunes of 20th–century French impressionist and American composers sweep you away.

The Tunes
Saint-Saens: Sonata for bassoon and piano
Francaix: String Trio
Poulenc: Trio for oboe, bassoon, and piano
Milhaud: Sonatina for oboe and piano
Schoenfield: Café Music

The Artists
Ian Swensen (violin) • Dimitri Murrath (viola) • Michelle Djokic (cello) • James Austin Smith (oboe) • Peter Kolkay (bassoon) • Julio Elizalde (piano) • Amy Yang (piano)
