Virtuosic classical music shows in Olympia feature the world’s top-tier soloists and chamber musicians. Breaking from the traditional, this lively performance blends two wildly diverse genres: blues and classical. Experience Gershwin’s timeless Rhapsody in Blue with two pianists, and Rzweski’s musical interpretation of the sounds of the cotton mill in Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Ravel — Violin Sonata no. 2
Rzewski— Cotton Mill Blues, for solo piano
Stravinsky— The Soldier’s Tale, for piano, violin, and clarinet
Bernstein— Clarinet Sonata
Gershwin— Rhapsody in Blue, for four-hands piano
