Our annual Silent Movie Series is curated by our own house organist Dennis James. Each movie event is presented with live musical accompaniment on our historic Mighty Andy Crow Wurlitzer Organ—a treasure restored from 1924.

This justly-celebrated American cinema classic recounts the story of a demented organist lurking in the catacombs beneath the Paris Opera House. His unrequited love for beautiful soprano, Christine, causes mayhem throughout the city. Lon Chaney Sr. stars in the 1925 film that defined the horror genre for audiences worldwide.
