A Pirate Christmas gives the choral groups at SPSCC an opportunity to enter the show choir realm so beloved by audiences of the Seattle Men’s Chorus and other groups. In our holiday show, we encounter the Puget Sound Pirates who have journeyed a long way seeking the meaning of Christmas and sharing what they have experienced in other parts of the world. The concert features a wide variety of works from new renditions of carols such as “I Saw Three Ships,” “We Three Kings,” “Deck the Halls,” and “Masters in this Hall;” as well as Gilbert & Sullivan, Manhattan Transfer, and more. The audience will be invited to participate in a holiday sing-a-long too. Composers featured include John Rutter, Larry Moore, Alica Parker, Mark Riese, Eric Lane Barnes, Luke Mayernik and more.
