SPSCC Artist & Lecture Series: TAIKOPROJECT

Founded in 2000 by a group of young, emerging taiko drummers, Los Angeles-based  TAIKOPROJECT has become a worldwide sensation. The group hit the stage with reinvented forms of traditional Japanese drumming in a high-energy American-style taiko. TAIKOPROJECT represents the cultural blend of the young Japanese-Americans in the United States today.
