SPSC Orchestra presents Classical Concord/Romantic Dissonance

The South Puget Sound College Orchestra completes its third season with classical and romantic era works. Featured pieces are Haydn’s last symphony (No 104 in D Major) and two contrasting romantic overtures by Brahms (Academic Overture) and Wagner (Prelude to Die Meistersinger). Rounding out the concert will be selections from Les Miserables. Local pianist, Jennifer Hermann, originally scheduled to solo with the orchestra, has been re-scheduled to the 2017-2018 season.
