Studio West Dance Theatre’s The Nutcracker

Be swept away this holiday season by Studio West Dance Theatre’s fresh take on The Nutcracker. You will be delighted by professional sets, costumes, over 230+ performers, and a mesmerizing snow scene with a whirlwind of swirling snowflakes.  Studio West’s rendition of this holiday classic is blended seamlessly with traditional ballet and comical surprises the whole family will love, and certain to have you dancing in your seats.

This year’s production will feature guest artist Joshua Grant, soloist with Pacific Northwest Ballet. Joshua Grant is Studio West’s resident choreographer and instructor for the 2017-2018 season.

We invite our younger patrons ages 3 and up to join us at Clara’s Winter Wonderland Party, beginning one hour before each matinee performance. Make a holiday keepsake, delight in a reading of The Nutcracker story, visit and take pictures with characters from the ballet, and enjoy refreshments including special snowflake cupcakes. Tickets are $12 (plus $3 facility fee). Adults chaperoning their children do not need to purchase tickets.

Back by popular demand is Studio West Dance Guild’s Pandora Bracelet Raffle during The Nutcracker performances. Four Pandora bracelets with charms and a Panowicz Jewelers gift certificate in the amount of $250 will be raffled. Raffle tickets are $5 each and can be purchased in the theater lobby. Winners for all prizes will be drawn following the last Nutcracker performance. You do not need to be present to win. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to provide free master classes for dancers in our community.
