The Washington Center is excited to announce that our brand new website went live early in the morning on Tuesday, August 30th. The Tacoma based web firm Sitecrafting came on as website sponsor, assisting with design and working with our staff to help us make this leap forward in mobile and responsive design.
The new site is designed to be fully mobile-friendly on the front end, with additional updates to our back end and ticket purchasing software to follow. Our hope is that the intuitive design will help our patrons efficiently find the information they need.
Don’t remember the exact name of the show you want to see? A favorite feature among staff here at The Center is the powerful new search tool available at the top of our page. It will search the entire website, a feature missing from our old site. Additionally, you can visit our Artistic Partner page to view pre-sorted lists of events for your favorite local arts organizations, or stop by our brand new Sponsor page to view the businesses that support your local performing arts center.
Our technical experts tell us that, while our new website is up and ready to go, it may take up to forty-eight hours to fully ‘propagate’ throughout the web. If anyone experiences a problem, or cannot access our site, we ask that you call our Box Office staff at (360) 753-8586. They are open Tuesday – Saturday, noon to 5:30PM and are ready to help with ticket purchases or handle any confusion that might occur during our transition. We hope you enjoy the new site!
